Thrive.

Greetings, Member!

Your upcoming visit is important in establishing a clear baseline of your current health and kickstarting a personalized path to healthy longevity together.

As a first step, we’ve put together some essentials to help you prepare for your visit. Take a moment to go through these—they’ll ensure you’re ready to make the most of this meaningful experience.

Let’s dive in!

The Day Before Your Thrive Assessment

What To Do:

  • You must fast for at least 10 hours prior to having your blood drawn. Fasting means not eating or drinking for at least 10 hours before the test, except water. You may drink water.
  • Get Restful Sleep: Aim for at least 6 hours of quality sleep to ensure your body is in its best state. If sleep has been a challenge, don’t worry—we’ll work together to address this as part of your health journey.
  • Stay Hydrated: Hydrate well before your blood test. This helps keep your blood pressure from dropping. The leading cause of fainting and dizziness during a blood test is a drop in blood pressure.
  • Avoid coffee or other caffeinated drinks before your test because they may cause your body to expel water.
  • Have a Balanced Dinner: Opt for light and balanced meals such as vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Avoid heavy, processed, or sugary foods that could affect your metabolic markers.
  • After your blood is drawn, you may resume your regular diet.

What Not To Do:

  • Avoid Alcohol, Smoking, and Vaping: Refrain from these for at least 12 hours before your visit to prevent any impact on your results.
  • Skip Intense Workouts: Avoid strenuous physical activity at least 24 hours before your visit.
  • Eating Pattern: Ensure a comfortable and light meal schedule to feel your best during the visit.

On the Day of Your Thrive Assessment

What To Do:

  • Please ensure you have a light, comfortable meal at least 2 hours before your scheduled visit time.
  • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose loose, easy-to-remove clothing that allows for smooth physical checks and measurements.

What Not To Do:

  • Avoid Overhydration: While hydration is key, avoid drinking too much water right before your visit.
  • Skip Stimulants: Avoid tea, coffee, or energy drinks on the day of the visit as they may alter certain biomarkers.

Other Considerations:

  • Medications: Avoid taking calcium tablets for at least 48 hours before your scheduled visit, as it may affect the accuracy of the body composition analysis. Continue taking your regular medications unless instructed otherwise. However, if you are on hormone therapies (e.g., insulin, thyroxine, testosterone), Anti-diabetic medications (OHAs), or antihypertensive medications, please let us know in advance. We will make necessary changes to prevent any aberration in the results.
  • If you are feeling unwell or experiencing an active illness or infection, let us know—we’ll help you reschedule to ensure accurate results.
  • For women – If you are in the active bleeding phase of your menstrual cycle, please contact us for further guidance.
  • Please make sure you don’t have henna/mehendi on your hands.
  •

What To Bring?

  • Copies of previous medical records, if anything available
  • Bring Essentials: If you’re prone to hunger, feel free to carry a light snack (e.g., fruit or nuts) to enjoy after your session.

We’re committed to making your Thrive Assessment a seamless experience. Following these guidelines will help ensure accurate results and a smooth process during your visit.
